America's first planned suburb, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux in 1869. Riverside is a National Historic Landmark with curved streets, riverside parks, and Victorian architecture. Metra BNSF 20 minutes to Union Station. The Olmsted design gives it the most distinctive streetscape in Chicagoland.
